There is good news for parents struggling to find childcare options in the region.
Soon, there may be 66 more childcare places available.
Jo Harrison Urban Planning Advisory has submitted a planning application to Strathbogie Shire Council to develop an early learning centre on Church St, Nagambie.
The application was submitted on behalf of St Joseph’s School and the ELC would be located on school-owned land.
The MacKillop Early Learning Centre would be a single-storey modular building.
The plan includes a two-room kindergarten with an outdoor learning and play area.
However, the application does not include car parking on the land and instead asks for a permit to waive the parking requirement and use existing street and school parking.
