Elmore Memorial Hall will welcome a Bendigo Writers’ Festival show on Wednesday, August 14 through its On the Road initiative.

Australian actress, singer, writer and performer Jane Clifton will grace the stage in her one woman show, titled A Day At A Time In Rhyme.

Ms Clifton is known for her character Margo Gaffney in Prisoner, dominating Aussie screens in the role for four seasons.

The show will bring audiences into a year of her life through 365 original poems, drawing on her four seasons of Prisoner and older female lens to share her observations about life.

Ms Clifton is set to perform 35 of these poems as a dramatic monologue, supported by sound effects and projections. The show runs for an hour, and promises to uplift the audience while providing opportunities for reflection.

For more information about A Day At A Time In Rhyme and the Bendigo Writers’ Festival, head to the festival website.

The show is from 7pm to 8pm on Wednesday, August 14. Elmore Memorial Hall is located at 63 Hervey St, Elmore.
