Emily St in Seymour has received urgent road repairs following the significant damage caused by last week’s floods.

The works on Wednesday, October 19 and Thursday, October 20 were to clear debris and lay new road surface near the intersection of Tierney St.

However, warmer and drier weather is need for Regional Roads Victoria to complete long-term repairs.

In wet conditions, such as the current La Niña weather event, the risk of works failing is much higher, so it is not practical to deliver major works.
