Now’s your chance to submit an expression of interest to host or include activities in the Greater Shepparton Youth Fest 2024 program.
Greater Shepparton City Council is calling on individuals, local businesses, sports clubs and community organisations to apply for the festival that focuses on youth-led events.
Previously known as Victorian Youth Week, Youth Fest has evolved into a month-long celebration of youth-focused events, aiming to promote the mental and physical wellbeing of young people by offering accessible, low-cost or free events.
This year’s theme ‘Something for Everyone’ highlights council’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity, and the festival will feature of various activities across Greater Shepparton for the community to engage in.
City of Greater Shepparton Mayor Shane Sali encouraged the community to join in on the festival.
“If you are interested in being part of this initiative, I encourage you to submit your expression of interest. Youth are our future, and this is an excellent opportunity for our community to support and empower them,” he said.
Youth Fest will run for the month of September.
