Long and outstanding service was recognised by Echuca Regional Health with an awards celebration on Wednesday, November 13.

Chief executive Robyn Lindsay reflected on the role each staff member and volunteer played to provide a high level of service.

“We are so grateful for the contribution that everyone makes at Echuca Regional Health to enable us to deliver care to the community,” she said.

“Whether it’s in an inpatient environment, or outpatients or in people’s homes, we are really mindful that for every patient that we care for or resident in Glanville Village, if you lined up all the people behind the scenes, it’s around 30 people that contribute to one person receiving care.”

In the Leadership Award, it was Karen Taylor, Katherine Formica and Chelsea Nevins nominated. Karen Taylor won the award.

Katherine Formica was honoured with the inaugural CEO Discretionary Award, grateful for the recognition and the hard work of her team.

“I’ve been a nurse for 30 years, and I’ve done lots of things that I’m proud of, but I think what I’m most proud of is being part of the team that has built ERH at home over the last four or five years,” she said.

“I absolutely couldn’t have done it without amazing leadership from, Cynthia (Robins), who is my manager.

“All credit to my teams, they do the most amazing work at home.

“I’m so proud of the work that we do at ERH at home. I’m so proud to work here.”
