There were plenty of funky foot fashions on show.
Even the model skeletons got involved with silly socks.

Echuca Regional Health staff donned its craziest socks to celebrate Crazysocks4docs Day on Friday, June 7.

The annual event brings attention to and aims to break the stigma of mental illness in the medical profession, particularly for doctors.

It was founded by Geoff Toogood, a Melbourne-based cardiologist with lived experience of depression and anxiety.

Dr Toogood received a 2023 Mental Health Award for lived experience, which recognises national-level mental health leadership by a person who has experienced mental illness personally or as a supporter.

ERH has participated in the day for many years, which is celebrated on the first Friday of June each year.
