The Strathbogie Ranges won’t be light on the boogie this November — the Euroa Music Festival has secured a date.

Coming into the festival’s second year, organisers made the hard decision to postpone the March date with an already booked line-up.

Instead, the festival has once again secured those same hot names on triple j rotation, with Angie McMahon headlining, alongside Electric Fields, Andy Golledge Band and more on the new date of Saturday, November 5.

Festival director Adam Palmer said organisers were hoping to take the festival up a notch.

“All the bands selected we’ve recently seen perform live, so we’re really pumped to have them playing. They’re some really outstanding talents,” he said.

“It’s a diverse line-up with something for everyone. We have Indigenous hip-hop artist Dallas Woods and there’s a really young band, The Lazy Eyes, who could potentially be next level by the time November rolls around.”

Prefacing the festival on the Friday night to get the weekend started, Binney St will host the Euroa street party with local food, wine and entertainment aplenty.

Along with the breadth of talent, Mr Palmer said the festival had secured the showgrounds next to the festival site, ensuring visitors from out of town only had a short stroll to get back to their camp.

“We're just looking to grow it from from here and attract more people to the region because I don't think any people know much about it,” he said.

“And the people that do come to Euroa know it's a pretty cool little historic town with plenty to do outside of just going to the festival on the Saturday.

“We just want to create an event that draws lots of people to the region.”

The festival will take place at the Euroa Memorial Oval on Saturday, November 5. Tickets are available through https://www.euroamusicfestival.com/
