Captivating the audience with every note, the GV Orchestra deliver a stunning performance on stage.

The Victorian Seniors Festival is set to return from October 1 to 31, 2024. Strathbogie Shire Council is organising a free concert for its senior residents as part of the celebrations.

The concert is set to take place on Sunday, October 27 at the Violet Town Community Complex. The free event will kick off at 11am and promises to be a memorable morning of music, connection, and community spirit.

The Goulburn Valley Concert Orchestra will provide the entertainment, bringing together a dynamic group of musicians from diverse backgrounds.

This unique classical ensemble is set to fill the hall with music that promises to delight.

This year’s festival theme, ‘Explore, Engage, Evolve’, encourages older Victorians to keep their sense of wonder, make new friends, and shift perspectives on ageing—it’s a call to action for seniors to stay curious and connected.

“Our commitment extends beyond the festival – we aim to ensure our seniors feel valued, respected and involved throughout the entire year,” Strathbogie Shire Council Administrator Peter Stephenson said.

So, if you’re ready to connect with fellow community members while enjoying great music, this concert is for you.

Grab your free ticket now, as spots are limited, and get ready for a day filled with music, connection, and a shared sense of celebration.

Reserve your place by visiting tiny.cc/seniorsfestival2024 or calling Council’s Customer Service team on (03) 5795.
