A winery in Moama will host internationally acclaimed chefs to fundraise for Echuca Regional Health.
The Celebrating Culinary Careers dinner is on Friday, May 17 from 6 to 11pm at Morrisons Winery.
The event will celebrate the careers of high-profile figures in the global culinary scene, while supporting ERH mental health and wellbeing initiatives.
Australian patissier and television presenter Adriano Zumbo; Good Chef Bad Chef presenter, chef, and author Adrian Richardson; chef at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, John Sloane; and chef and global hospitality consultant Glenn Austin are on the line-up.
“These chefs will descend on Echuca-Moama especially for this event,” organisers said.
“The ticket price includes a fine dining experience with drinks and entertainment and will be a money-can't-buy experience for members of our community.”
The event is sponsored by the Riverine Herald, ERH, and Kagome - an Echuca-based fruit and vegetable processor and Australia’s largest tomato supplier.
“By coming together ... you will be helping ERH bridge funds for mental health and wellbeing,” they said.
“Our campaign seeks to bridge the gaps in mental health care, providing accessible resources, counselling, and educational programs that empower individuals to face their challenges with strength and hope.
“By contributing to our cause, you become a beacon of hope in the lives of those silently suffering, ensuring that they never walk their journey alone.
“Together, we can break the stigma, strengthen our community’s mental health foundation, and foster an environment where every person feels valued, heard and supported.”
This is the second Celebrating Culinary Careers event, following the 2022 edition at Echuca Wharf, which raised $180,000 for the ERH Cancer and Wellness Centre.
Tickets for the event are $250 per person and include food, drinks, and entertainment.
It will be hosted at Morrisons Winery, 123 Merool Rd, Moama.
