Fr Ray McInnes will be returning to the Anglican Parish of Benalla on Sunday, March 24, to be the celebrant and preacher at the Palm Sunday service at Holy Trinity at 9.30am.

A former Rector of the Parish, Fr Ray was in the community for more than ten years, first as a curate before returning to become the parish priest.

In the mid-90s, he left Benalla to become Dean of Wangaratta Cathedral before moving some years later to Melbourne to serve in parishes before retiring.

Painting is a love of Fr Ray’s, and in retirement, he now has time to spend on this passion as well as one of his others, playing golf.

Fr Ray and his wife Glenys would love the opportunity to catch up with people who knew them from his time here in Benalla, so all are welcome to come to the service and morning tea afterwards.
