Fete result helps employ teacher

Grace Wright is to be employed as a religious education teacher in our local primary schools thanks to the support shown by the community.

She will be hired using funds raised at the fete held by the BOUSA (Berrigan, Oaklands Urana Special Religious Education Association) Committee on April 6.

The group said it was a wonderful fete, and they wish to thank the Berrigan businesses for their wonderful support as well as the community for supporting this first fete.

Kath Harris and Ray Macartney added atmosphere to the day with their music.
