An Echuca boy has died at a Melbourne hospital on Wednesday, June 5 following a traffic accident in Fitzroy.
The 15-year-old was riding an SYM Orbit motorised scooter on Nicholson St, when it and a vehicle collided about 12.40am, police said.
He sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital, where he later died.
Victoria Police are investigating the collision, and the vehicle’s driver has been assisting with inquiries.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
