A car was completely burnt, but the driver escaped unscathed, in a car fire in Mooroopna on Monday, December 5.
Mooroopna CFA volunteer Allen Service said the motorist had been having issues with the Holden sedan’s air conditioning while they were driving.
The driver pulled over in McFarlane Rd and got out because smoke was coming out from under the bonnet.
The car then caught fire.
Firefighters from Mooroopna CFA and Shepparton Fire and Rescue were called to the fire about 2.10pm.
It took 12 firefighters about 20 minutes to get the fire under control.
It took 40 minutes to extinguish the blaze.
