Emergency services were called out to a property in McClead Street, Yarrawonga after an explosion in the roof of the house.
A CFA spokesman said two Yarrawonga units responded to reports of a fire at around 3.50pm on Monday, February10.
"Crews discovered there was an explosion in the roof of a building,” the spokesman said.
"The relevant power company was called to the scene."
The fire was deemed under control shortly after 4pm.
