CWA Eastern Goulburn Valley Group Creative Arts Exhibition

The Eastern Goulburn Valley branch of the CWA is hosting its annual Creative Arts Exhibition. There will be various handcrafted items, home industries, floral art, horticulture, and photography on display and for sale, as well as craft demonstrations on Saturday.

When: 2.30pm to 5pm, and Saturday 10am to 4pm

Kyabram Blue Light carnival-themed disco

This 13-and-under disco has a twist: carnival-themed activities. These activities include mechanical bull riding, axe-throwing, basketball shots, and many others. A canteen with hot food, drinks and lollies will also be available.

Urban Junior State Firefighter Championships

Hundreds of firefighters are once again gearing up to compete in this year’s CFA/VFBV State Firefighter Championships over the next two weeks. Kicking things off this weekend is the Urban Junior State Championships at Mooroopna Recreation Reserve. Attendees can enjoy food and drink vans, firefighting equipment and training demonstrations, CFA programs and education hubs, award presentations and more.
