Former resident back to help home town in Army role

Former Echuca resident Edie Haley was back in town this week, helping with flood efforts.

The 22-year-old is in the Army now and was part of the Australian Defence Force contingent in Echuca Moama helping with the flood.

Normally based in Wodonga, she was among several former locals now in the ADF who were deployed to help in Echuca Moama.

Edie is the daughter of Echuca Village residents Kylie Haley and Dermot Finnegan and grew up here before moving away when she joined the Army.
