Seymour residents are in for a tasty treat if they shop local in March.

The Seymour Recovery Hub at 4 Guild St is giving Tastes of the Goulburn tickets to those supporting businesses in Seymour.

This is a new incentive by the Mitchell Shire Council flood recovery team to encourage residents to buy locally-made products and support flood recovery.

To obtain the free ticket, residents 18 years old and over must spend $300 on any businesses registered in the 3660 postcode.

People taking part in the promo must also be living in the 3660 postcode.

Proof of address will be required, with one claim per person and a maximum of two claims per household.

The $300 can be spent across more than one business.

Once you have finished shopping, take your receipts to the Seymour Recovery Hub to claim your tickets.

Ticket claims will close at 5pm on Tuesday, April 2, or when the ticket cap is reached.

Tickets are valued at $35 and will entitle holders to the official event tasting glass they can keep as a souvenir, as well as free wine, beer, cider, and gin tasting from more than 20 vendors.

Tastes of the Goulburn will be held on Saturday, April 27, from 10am until 4pm.
