Australia’s Special Representative for Agriculture will be the key guest at the next Farmers for Climate Action webinar on Thursday, October 31.
Su McCluskey is the inaugural incumbent of the federally appointed position which was created in 2021 to showcase Australian agriculture overseas and develop trade links and global initiatives.
She has a background in agricultural policy, production and research, and is also the Commissioner for International Agricultural Research.
Ms McCluskey is involved with beef cattle farming in Yass, NSW and will use the webinar to discuss Australian farmers’ sustainability credentials and their importance to export markets.
The webinar will be held at noon on Thursday, October 31 via Zoom and will include a Q&A session.
