For Children’s Week, child rights organisation 54 reasons held a family day at Echuca’s Apex Park on Tuesday, October 22.

The national celebration runs from Saturday, October 19, to Sunday, October 27, and is focused on the achievements, rights and talents of children.

A Save the Children’s Australian branch, 54 reasons is facilitated activities on the day for guests to enjoy as part of its Play2Learn program.

This event also welcomed a range of community organisations and services, with Intereach, Echuca Fire Brigade, Ambulance Victoria and Echuca Regional Health among the groups involved.

This year’s theme for Children’s Week, ‘Children have the right to a clean and safe environment’, was reflected in some of the information and activities on show, like Coliban Water who is also celebrating National Water Week.
