Cobram and the region commemorated Anzac Day with ceremonies and events on Tuesday.

Commemorations started on Monday, April 24 with Katamatite Primary School holding a small event at the Katamatite and District War Memorial.

In Tocumwal the Tocumwal War Memorial Hall opened its doors to preview its new permanent photographic canvas installation.

The biggest ceremonies were hosted in Cobram at the Cobram and District War Memorial on Tuesday, including the dawn service, the traditional Anzac Day march and a 10am service.

Other ceremonies were held in Nurmurkah, Nathalia, Strathmerton and Barooga.
