The 2024 Benalla Street Art Festival got under way on Thursday and a steady flow of visitors have joined local people to enjoy the spectacle.

The Rose City has been a rich tapestry of artworks for some years, and after five years of no new murals, it’s refreshing to see new ones appearing.

The Ensign’s Simon Ruppert and Issie Hill have been out and about capturing the magic.
