Tuesday, May 30, saw Cobram Secondary College students plant between 200 and 300 trees in Strathmerton near a proposed walkway as part of the school’s mission to reach out to the local community.

The tree planting was done in conjunction with the Goulburn Murray Land Care Network and the Strathmerton steering committee with hopes that the trees will grow and beautify the area as well as create a source of natural shade.
