While it’s true, it takes two to tango, it’s also true that it takes 150 spookily dressed kiddos to create the scariest event of the year.
Kyabram’s most frighteningly fabulous kids filled the eerily decorated Kyabram P-12 College hall on Friday, November 1 for the annual Bluelight Halloween Disco.
The event is one of the more attended youth events in Kyabram, and this year’s edition was no different to other years, with kids and the team at Bluelight levelling up the event.
Creeping through the dimly lit dance hall were devils, skeletons, aliens, dinosaurs, superheroes and more, grooving to current pop hits and nostalgic disco classics like 'Nutbush City Limits' and the 'Macarena'.
This year, Bluelight received a grant from Campaspe Shire Council through the Youth Go! Grants, which was used to enhance this year’s festivities.
New additions to this year’s disco included a free photo booth, a relaxing chill-out space outside the hall with games, and exciting, best-dressed prizes sponsored by supportive local Kyabram businesses.
The Free Press journalist Jemma Jones was on site at the spooky event to capture the night's thrills and chills.
