Lake Benalla and the Broken River are continuing to fill up, and the rain is showing no signs of easing.

The lakeside walking track is closed, as is Ackerly Ave at the stock bridge.

A minor flood warning has been issued for the Broken River from Benalla to Casey’s weir.

You can fill up sandbags in the Benalla Courthouse carpark or at the Baddaginnie Fire Shed.

Mitre 10 has informed the Ensign it will have sandbags and sand available tomorrow afternoon (Friday, October 14).
