A minor flood notification remains in place for parts of Greater Shepparton.

At the time of writing, Monday about 5pm, the Goulburn River at Shepparton was at 9.57m, indicating minor flooding.

It was expected to continue to fall slowly Monday night into Tuesday morning.

Goulburn-Murray Water has maintained Lake Eildon releases at 17,000ML per day, and is expected to provide a further update at 9am on Tuesday, October 10.

Flooding has now eased in the Broken River and Seven Creeks catchment areas.

Watt Rd, between Mooroopna and Kialla, Bridge Rd in Toolamba, between Wren St and Newham Rd, Trevaskis Rd in Kialla, between Union Rd and McKernan Rd, and Raftery Rd in Kialla, between Edgewater Rd and Seven Creeks Dve, remain closed due to flooding.
