St Mel’s Primary School students’ months of dedication culminated in a spectacular showcase on Wednesday, August 14, as they dazzled a sold-out crowd at Riverlinks Westside with their whole school production, The Hit List.

After two terms of hard work and excitement on behalf of the students, and months of organising by the staff, the Shepparton school’s production was a huge success.

Written and directed by St Mel’s very own visual and performing arts teacher, Robyn Banfield, the show took audiences on a journey through time, with the talented cast the tour guides, singing and dancing along to hits from the decades as they pass through.

From the 1920s’ colourful Charleston, to Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off, the audience enjoyed a range of performances, each individually choreographed and uniquely styled.

St Mel’s expressed thanks to the school community for organising costumes and props and warmly congratulated the students who made it all happen — the St Mel’s stars of the night.
