Gannawarra Shire residents have until 5pm on Monday, June 6 to have their say on council’s 2022/2023 proposed budget.

Council has been asking residents to have their say on the draft version of the key annual financial document since May 19.

The proposed budget can be viewed at council’s customer service centres at Cohuna or Kerang, or can be downloaded from www.gsc.vic.gov.au/budget

“Council thanks all residents who have provided feedback so far, and encourages those yet to do so to have their say,” Mayor Charlie Gillingham said.

“The 2022/2023 proposed budget maintains key services council provides the community, assists in the delivery of major projects and invests in community-led initiatives that will grow the Gannawarra now and in the future.”

Residents can provide feedback regarding the proposed budget at www.gsc.vic.gov.au/budget

“Anyone needing assistance to provide feedback on council’s 2022/2023 proposed council budget is welcome to visit either the Cohuna or Kerang customer service centres, where council’s friendly staff are able to help,” Cr Gillingham said.

All feedback received will help formulate the final version of the budget, which is to be presented to the council meeting to be held at 10am on Wednesday, June 29.
