It’s an event that no shopaholic, penny pincher, or wandering tourist can resist.
On Saturday, November 30, Greater Shepparton City Council invites residents and visitors to immerse themselves in the Tatura Market at Stuart Mock Place.
There, local vendors, each with a decidedly different shopping experience, will showcase the best of the region’s offerings.
“We have worked closely with local vendors to ensure the market has something for everyone to enjoy,” council’s place manager Bonnie McIntosh said.
That “something” includes locally sourced produce, handcrafted goods, fashion, homewares, jewellery, artisan crafts, entertainment for all ages, and oddball treasures to find.
But that’s not all Tatura has in store.
Local businesses along Hogan St will be open on the day, welcoming shoppers to a selection of retail and food and beverage options.
“It is an opportunity for our community and visitors to come together and find local bargains just in time for Christmas,” Ms McIntosh said.
More importantly, this event serves as a celebration of the importance of shopping locally, community connection, and the town’s unique charm.
“Without the support of our community, events like these would not take place,” Ms McIntosh said.
“We are grateful for all the support the first pilot market received in May and are eager for its return.”
The Tatura Market is on Saturday, November 30, from 9am to 1pm at Stuart Mock Place, Francis St, Tatura.
