It’s time to reverse the roles of cutting oranges into quarters and rallying the kids on the field — Goulburn Valley mums are being called to have their own soccer fun.

Valley Sport’s introductory program is open to all women of all skill sets and ages — not just mums — to get on the field, make some friends and have a bit of fun, all for free.

The program will run over six weeks, offering the chance for women from “all walks of life” to learn basic soccer skills in “a social, judgment-free environment”.

“It doesn't matter if you have never kicked a football before — absolutely no experience is necessary — anybody can take part,” a Valley Sport spokesperson said.

Two one-hour sessions are being offered per week, the first kicking off on Wednesday, July 27 at Vibert Reserve, Shepparton from 5.30pm to 6.30pm and the other on Friday, July 29, which runs from 9.30am to 10.30am at McEwen Reserve, Shepparton.
