With more than $350,000 donated since the club’s formation, it’s easy to see why Goulburn Valley Health became Rotary Club of Shepparton Central’s iconic site, as part of Rotary’s Centenary Baton Relay.
Rotarians Geoff Dobson and Rob Kelly stopped by GV Health on Wednesday, May 12 as part of the relay event.
“GV Health is most appreciative of the generosity that has been received from the Rotary Club of Shepparton Central,” GV Health Foundation director Carmel Johnson said.
“Throughout the past 30 years and since the club’s formation in excess of $350,000 has been donated to GV Health.
“These funds have benefited our children’s wing, the oncology unit, the emergency department and more recently our nurses with post-graduate scholarships.
“GV Health congratulates the Rotary members for their outstanding contribution to the health service.”
