Greater Shepparton artists are in luck.

Grants are now open as part of the Touring Victoria program, offering between $10,000 and $250,000 to support tours by Victorian arts and cultural organisations and creatives.

Greater Shepparton and Campaspe Shire are among the regions eligible to apply for grants.

Member for Northern Victoria Mark Gepp said Touring Victoria allowed local artists to expand their reach.

“We’re supporting our creative community to hit the road and reconnect with audiences across the state — delivering the cultural experiences that make Victoria our nation’s cultural heartland,” he said.

The past round of grants supported regional tours of Kutcha Edwards, circus comedy show Trash Test Dummies, The Australian Ballet, Finucane and Smith and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

Applications from First Nations creative organisations will be assessed through a First Nations-led process.

Applications close on July 14.
