Greater Shepparton City Council is set to host the Winter City Market again this month.
On Friday, August 30 and Saturday, August 31, Shepparton's Maude St and Fraser St precinct will come alive with the annual event’s proceedings.
The event will run from 10am to 6pm on Friday and 10am to 3pm on Saturday.
The market aims to support local businesses and activate the local economy, offering special deals and promotions across the CBD. Visitors can expect a lively atmosphere with music, family entertainment, activities, and food from local restaurants and cafés.
“Seasonal markets are a community favourite and a wonderful way to support local businesses,” Council place manager Bonnie McIntosh said.
“Visitors and residents can connect with local suppliers while enjoying a day out with the family and friends.”
The event will feature various attractions including a jumping castle, nature-based craft activities, games, live music, boutique craft stalls, and more.
Maude St will be closed to traffic between Fryers St and High St, and half of Fraser St will also be closed during the event.
