With the opening night of the festival just a few sleeps away, be on the lookout for the Echuca Moama Winter Blues decorated guitars.

More than 60 guitars have been painted and decorated by creative and talented locals of all ages to brighten up the wintry streets for the annual gathering of blues entertainers and enthusiasts.

The festival committee would like to thanks to the sponsors of the guitar competition: Rochester Mitre 10 for the materials and delivery service; the Echuca-Moama Men’s Shed for making the guitar cut outs; and to Wendy O’Hara, Campaspe Library and Patricia Rowe for their support.

There will be plenty of family fun to be had over the course of the festival — on Saturday and Sunday at Hopwood Gardens between 10am and 3pm there will be face painting, a jumping castle, a roaming puppeteer, arts and crafts, and plenty of blues music.
