Club Lime gets the squeeze

Gym chain Club Lime has closed its Shepparton branch without public notice.

The company’s Facebook page has no message about the location, which opened in October 2019, closing.

“We have enjoyed being part of the community in Shepparton, however, after careful consideration and in line with a strategic focus of the Club Lime brand, we have made the decision to close Club Lime Shepparton,” a statement on the Shepparton tab of the website said.

The closure was effective as of Thursday, November 28 at 5pm.

Since then, the company has opened two new locations, one in Albion Park, NSW, and the other in Seven Hills, Queensland.

If you have a paid-in-full membership with Club Lime and have not had contact with them, you are entitled to a refund as per the membership contract.

“If we close any or all Club facilities or gyms ... you will have the option of cancelling your Membership and receiving a pro rata refund of your Membership Fee for the remaining period of the Membership,” the contract states.

Mooroopna confectionery shop The Rolling Lolly Shop has sold its stock and moved on.

The News interviewed owner Mandy Glenister in March 2023 about her new shop; however, things have changed, and she had to stop operations.

“The Rolling Lolly Shop has closed its door,” was the simple message she posted on Facebook.

The van was often found at Craigmuir Lake on Echuca Rd but had its final day as a garage sale.

The shop was also a stall holder at the newly rejuvenated Mooroopna Market.

Ms Glenister specialised in old sweets such as Choo-Choo Bars and Fads but had modern favourites as well.
