The Winter Sessions is making the community hall you’ve driven past day in and day out the stuff of rustic dreams.
Kialla Central Hall will be home to the third live music iteration of the sessions, soon to be filled with ambient lighting, soft tunes and local talent.
Opening the show is four-part harmony Fortessima to set the mood, followed by “terrific and rare stage presence” Braden Pullen, who will travel from the big smoke to perform some originals.
Winter Sessions organiser Jamie Lea said feedback from audiences and performers alike had been overwhelmingly positive.
“It just shows you the recipe we’ve developed over the last 10 or more years is still wanted,” she said.
“There’s still a hunger for phenomenal musicians from regional Victoria connecting with appreciative and grateful audiences.
“So that’s a real tick for us and certainly gives us the encouragement that we need to keep doing what we’re doing.”
The fourth and final session at the Merrigum Hall also has a “cracker line-up”, with tickets selling rapidly, Ms Lea said.
Audiences can enjoy the musical oasis without the worry of getting to and fro, with a bus ride to the venue and home on offer.
The night will kick off at the Kialla Central Hall at 5.30pm and conclude at 9.30pm on Saturday, July 23. Tickets are still available for the session at https://www.thewintersessions.com/tickets
