Harvest the benefits and apply for the latest agricultural grants now

Don’t miss out, apply for the grants now.

Are you a local farmer in need of some extra support?

Well, look no further. The agricultural and pastoral society grants program can provide grants of up to $10,000 for infrastructure development and other business activities.

Member for Euroa Annabelle Cleeland is encouraging agricultural and pastoral societies to apply for the new round of grants, to help prepare for the 2024/25 show season.

“Agriculture shows are such an important part of our regional towns - acting as the ultimate showcase of the wonderful food and fibre we produce locally, as well as the talents of our local horse riders and livestock breeders,” Ms Cleeland said.

“It would be great to see as many agricultural and pastoral societies as possible benefit from this funding to ensure our regional towns continue to get the support they deserve.”

Previous projects funded under the grant program include new animal yards, fencing, shade covers and lighting as well as upgrades to shearing pavilions, luncheon halls, public amenities, and viewing stands.

“I will be reaching out to our local societies to offer my support with any grant applications ahead of what will be another exciting year of ag shows,” Ms Cleeland said.

Applications for the grants close on Friday, August 23.
