Have you considered volunteering with Benalla Rural City Council?

Benalla Rural City Council runs a number of volunteer programs which often offer as much to the volunteer as they do to the groups and locals they assist.

Volunteering is a great way to share knowledge, grow skills, and develop a sense of purpose, while supporting local community programs and organisations.

The council is currently looking for people who have the passion, skills and time to help with the following:

  • Visitor information centre;
  • L2P learner driver mentors;
  • Benalla Cinema;
  • Benalla Art Gallery;
  • Benalla Botanical Gardens;
  • Litter gatherers;
  • Events and festivals;
  • Youth programs; and
  • The Sir Edward ‘Weary’ Dunlop Learning Centre (Benalla Library).

If you’re interested in joining a valued team of volunteers, contact BRCC Volunteer Development Coordinator Jackie Brennan on 5760 2600 or via council@benalla.vic.gov.au
