Rochester Historical and Pioneer Society members have a number of photos to which they are hoping to add more details.
They would love to find out the story behind the photos, with some having little to no details.
Over the next few weeks, The News will publish some of the photos for the members in the hope people in the community might be able to help with information.
This photo is of a ‘typical farm scene’ and was used by Heritage Australia for the 1999 calendar.
Our first photo, which appeared in the Campaspe News on October 29, was of a family with 'With love from all at ‘’Nowra’’, March 28, 1925.
Walter, three years nine months; Hanley, two years five months; and Graham eight months’ written on the back.
If you have any details in relation to the photos, please reach out to the society via email to j-lfoster@bigpond.com or email the Campaspe News at editorial@campaspenews.com.au, and we will pass along the information.
Rochester Historical and Pioneer Society is located at 96-98 High St, Rochester, and is open to visitors from 9am to noon on Wednesdays and Fridays.
