The next generation of Australian hip-hop pioneers is coming – and his name is Vince the Kid.
Australian record label Bad Apples Music announced the Shepparton rapper as the winner of its latest competition via Instagram on Tuesday, October 3.
The prize?
Sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in Australian music, including A.B. Original, Paul Kelly, Baker Boy, Hilltop Hoods and Barkaa, at Shepparton’s Now & Forever concert on Friday, October 6.
“I’m really excited to have been chosen, and I’m looking forward to getting back on stage and performing alongside such amazing artists, especially in my home town,” Vince the Kid said.
The young music prodigy is no stranger to the spotlight.
His resume has grown substantially in the past few years – the support act for KIAN and Baker Boy at Laneway Festival (2019), performing at St Kilda Festival (2020) and bringing his immense talent back to Shepparton for the Land of Plenty festival (2022).
With hits such as Too Far Gone and Rush The Love, audiences can expect big things from the kid from Shepparton as he continues to infiltrate the hip-hop universe with his mature and refined sound.
Vince the Kid is scheduled to perform from 2.30pm to 2.55pm at Now & Forever on Friday, October 6, at the Shepparton Showgrounds, Yorta Yorta Woka.
Tickets to Now & Forever are available via Ticketmaster.
