Organisers are getting excited ahead of the fourth annual Benalla Seniors High Tea and Fashion Parade.

Tickets are now available for the event which is a Benalla Wide Action Committee project organised by a team of volunteers.

One of those volunteers is Caroll Bolitho, who said she expects it to be the best yet.

“We usually hold it in October to coincide with fashion week,” Mr Bolitho said.

“This year it will be on Thursday, August 24, due to the availability of Feel Good Fashions who help with the fashion parade.

“Tickets are $10 and that includes watching the show and enjoying the high tea.

“There is also a lucky door prize and some of the clothes from the fashion parade will be available to buy.”

The event is being supported by Age Friendly Benalla, Benalla Rotary, Benalla Rural City Council and the Benalla Bowls Club - where it will be held.

It will run from 2pm - 4pm on Thursday, August 24, and attendees are asked to arrive half an hour early.

Tickets are available from Waminda House. Reserve yours by phoning 5762 4528.

Payment will be required in advance of the event and tickets can be paid for in cash or via a bank transfer.
