The Benalla and District Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is once again preparing its traditional ‘Giant Christmas Stocking Raffle’.

President Bren Brown said that as part of that, it is approaching Benalla businesses, which show overwhelming support every year.

“In addition to the chance of winning the contents of the stocking, this year’s event offers an exciting twist,” Ms Brown said.

“Among the array of prizes, participants have the opportunity to win a thrilling glider flight, a delightful dinner for two valued at $150, and even a pampering at a local Ladies’ hair salon.

“Alongside these, there are hampers, quilts, and various other minor prizes up for grabs.”

To make the process convenient, the auxiliary has acquired an Eftpos machine, allowing the purchasing of tickets to be effortless using cash or card.

Each ticket is $2, or you can get three for $5.

Members of the public can also make an additional donation if they wish.

“Auxiliary members have worked extra hard this year to keep the fundraising going in these challenging times and are exceptionally grateful to donor businesses,” Ms Brown said.

“Tickets will go on sale from the first week of November and will be available outside the Bendigo Bank from Thursday to Saturday each week until the Draw on Saturday, December 9.

“Please drop by and help your hospital to help you in time of need.”
