Sixty car and bike owners gathered at Hussln Auto Detailing for an open day show and shine on Saturday, April 9, eager to show off their vehicles and raise funds for mental health services.

More than $1800 was raised for mental health services at the annual event through a charity raffle and donations.

HussIn Auto Detailing owner Cam Scorey holds a community event every year on the anniversary of opening the business and this year decided to give back, with all money raised going to BeyondBlue.

“I’ve had my own battles with mental health since I was 15 years old so I know how much mental health affects everyone, especially men, and we don’t talk about it,” he said.

“There’s been a lot of suicides in the area, and attempted suicides ... I thought why not do something about it?”
