Ian Sneddon Golf Day this Sunday

Jerilderie Sports Club will host the annual Ian Sneddon MND Golf Day fundraiser this Sunday.

Golf is 18 hole ambrose, kicking off at 9am, and Barefoot 2 Bowls triples starts at 10.30am.

Entries for those events to Janine on 0428 577 304.

The four brave Big Freeze contestants are Alistair Nicholls, Mitch Goddard, Gina Simpson and Heidi Bryce.

They will be plunging into the icy waters of the dunk tank from 3pm.

Their efforts deserve all the support we can give them, for the worthy cause of MND Victoria.

We hope they have fleecy, warm clothes on stand-by when they hop out - if they can hop out!

The wintry weather this last week does not bode well for the intrepid quartet.

Raffle prizes include first prize of three nights’ accommodation at Christies Beach, SA; second prize is from Noonan’s Jewellers Cobram.

Various other prizes from local business houses are also to be won. Tickets are $2 each or three for $5.

MND merchandise will be available for purchase on the day. Donations can also be made to BSB 63 3000 ACC no 183 711 076.
