Irrigation farmers discuss key issues

About 120 irrigation farmers from northern Victoria and the southern Riverina met for the Irrigation Farmers Network conference at Moama on Thursday, July 25.

Speakers covered a range of issues including fertiliser efficiency, marketing and consumer trends, summer crop options, issues in the cotton industry, fodder yields, innovative weed control and climate outlooks.

Emerald farmer Renee Anderson shared how the industry could cultivate understanding, trust and appreciation among consumers.
