Girgarre residents are in for a magical treat as the enchanting world of opera comes to their doorstep with Opera in the Country.

On Saturday, 7 December, home-grown talent Charlotte Goode, Kyabram's shining opera star, returns to Girgarre for Opera in the Country, only this time around with a Christmas twist.

The Girgarre Town Hall is set to play host to the event, which has before been the backdrop for this same event with great success.

As a festive treat, the hall will resonate with the captivating voices of Miss Goode and rising operatic stars Olive Cullen, Johnny De Simone, and Matthew Duffy, accompanied by talented Sydney pianist Ronan Apcar.

Guests will be treated to a delightful mix of Christmas carols and festive favourites, including O Holy Night, Angels We Have Heard on High, Ave Maria and the playful Santa Baby, among others.

Local wine from Longleat Winery will be on offer long with a light complementary supper to keep stomachs warm and to accompany a fantastic night of singing.

Tickets for Opera in the Country are $25 and are available to buy online at trybooking.com/CWVXW or at the door on the night subject to availability.
