The Katamatite Lions Club has had a busy year with many achievements to reflect upon at their 49th changeover dinner on Saturday, July 8.

The group gathered at the Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club to reflect on their annual accomplishments with special guest, and host, award-winning entertainer Rodney Vincent.

The Katamatite Lions Club donated a substantial amount of funds to Muckatah Landcare Group, Katamatite Cricket and Football Clubs, Katamatite Kindergarten, Katamatite Primary School, Katamatite Historical Society and Museum and Katamatite Cemetery Trust.

Past District Governor Neil Stuart inducted three new members into the club and announced the new office bearers for the next 12 months.

Graeme Henty has been named President, Spence Curtis will be Vice President, Cheryl Hill will be Secretary and Andrew Moffatt will be Treasurer.

Julie Ballard, who was awarded a Chris August Award, has been appointed Second Vice District Governor on the district board, and Greg Monk was presented with a life membership.

The members of the club enjoyed a wonderful evening reminiscing about their philanthropic efforts.

They are now eagerly looking forward to the upcoming year, hoping to achieve even more positive results.
