Katunga man stable after crash

A 24-year-old Katunga man was airlifted to Royal Melbourne Hospital after sustaining lower body injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon.

According to Victoria Police, the man was the sole occupant of a vehicle when it crashed into a tree at about 3.15pm along Lorenzs Rd, near Katunga on Monday, September 18.

His condition was originally reported as life-threatening however Ambulance Victoria has since confirmed the man is in a stable condition.

Investigations are ongoing.
