Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating after a woman was left with life-threatening injuries following a crash in Kilmore on Wednesday, January 22.
It is believed the driver of a Mitsubishi station wagon was travelling along Kilmore East Rd when the vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a tree at about 8pm.
The driver fled the scene and is yet to be identified.
The passenger, a 38-year-old Kilmore woman, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
