The kids of the Eilleen Taylor Kindergarten were spoilt for choice when it came to play buddies when Cobram Secondary College Year 11 students joined them as part of their vocational major studies on Monday, May 22.

The kindergarten, part of the Goulburn Region Preschool Association, hosted the CSC students as a way to foster intergenerational relations while giving the secondary college students vital insight into the childcare sector.

The opportunity afforded to the Year 11 students comes at an opportune time, as the Victorian Government seeks to increase the hours that preschool children spend a week at centres such as the kindergarten to 30 hours a week.

The kindergarten, located next to the Cobram Civic Centre, is currently open for new enrolments.
