Election debate: Nationals candidate Kim O’Keeffe, sitting member Suzanna Sheed and Liberal candidate Cheryl Hammer will take part in the Victorian Farmers Federation candidate forum in Shepparton.

The Victorian Farmers Federation has rescheduled its state election forum to Tuesday, November 8.

The forum was originally scheduled to be held on Monday, November 7, but was postponed due to the region’s floods.

It has since been moved to Tuesday, but the change of date has also meant a change in venue from the Shepparton RSL Club to the GV Hotel, High St, Shepparton.

Sitting member Suzanna Sheed will be joined by Liberal candidate Cheryl Hammer and Nationals candidate Kim O’Keeffe at the forum.

A VFF spokesperson said candidates would be asked about their positions on key issues outlined in its Fair Go for Regional Victoria election policy statement launched in June.

VFF president Emma Germano will host the forum and said it would be a great opportunity for the candidates to share their vision for the local community.

The forum is free and open to anyone wishing to attend. Bookings are not required.
